Timur Fakhrutdinov (Verkhnyaya Pyshma town, the Sverdlovsk region) is one of the most promising young chess players of the region. At the age of nine he achieved the norm of the candidate master. Despite his age, Timur is already a distinguished sportsman, who plays at a high level. He is a 4-times winner of the UrFD championships, a multiple winner of the Russian Cup stages of his age, winner of the international tournament ‘Volga Cup’. He won the main prize of the European Chess Championship among youths and became a master of FIDE. He won the next title of the European Chess Championship in 2016 year.
