Birthday is the most desirable holiday since the childhood. Long-awaited guests, the most delicious eats and drinks, kind congratulations. On October the 18 on the arena of the Palace of court sports there were bright sparks of fun like lightful chrysanthemums of exciting fireworks – the charity fund “Children of Russia” and Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company were celebrating their 15th birthday.
Guests assembled from all Russia – there were an audience from the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania and Bashkortostan, from the Kemerovo, the Kirov, the Kurgan, the Orenburg and Sverdlovsk Regions.
The festive program was opened with national awards and decorations presentation. Eugene Kuyvashev, the Governor of Sverdlovsk region, noted that “the UMMC and the charity fund “Children of Russia” – are coevals, and this fact speaks about absolute sincerity in charities”. The head of the region awarded the title of “The honorary citizen of Sverdlovsk region” to the general director of UMMC Andrey Kozitsyn and presented him with commemorative diploma for care of the younger generation.
Anniversary arithmetic
15 years – is a special date and festive arithmetic of this day was really unique. The number of the young actors appearing this day on stage increased to 1000 people – even huge Palace of court sports contained such number of children with great difficulty. The first song of the festive show was sung by combined choir in 500 people – it was the first time “Sem-Ya” assembled so many vocalists in one item on the programme, and there were 4 000 people accommodated on arenas.
The fund and UMMC have become more grown-up, bigger, more skilled and “Sem-Ya”-2014, graded up to it, has become the greatest, the most colourful and fabulous for many years of its realization. Only a number of participants was invariable – six sports family-teams, for four persons in each: mother, father and two children.
Valitov’s and Kozikov’s families arrived to Yekaterinburg from the Orenburg region, Medoyev’s – from the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, Brylyakov’s, Zheleznikov’s and Vorozhtsov’s – from the different cities of Sverdlovsk region. Teams drove out to the playground on a teenage playtrain: small, but very quick. Cheerful mothers and children looked out of the windows and waved to their fans, and one could see that they hide their excitement with great difficulty: there would be a serious competition for the capital prize.
Accompanied with effervescent comments of the entertainer, popular actor Alexander Oleshko, children, bending around limiters, were trying to sweep unpliant balls with huge brooms to the start line as fast as possible. Mothers, had done on kokoshniks and skirts-tables, were bringing numerous “entertainment” to a festive banquet racing each other. Fathers were trying to outrun competitors and by so doing not to scatter a lot of gift boxes as it was necessary to deliver it to the finish. The jury estimated speed and quality of task performance. In jury there were eminent sportsmen and women of Ural and Russia: Tatyana Kutergina. Olesya Krasnomovets, Yury Prilukov, Ivan Alypov, Ilya Hlybov.
Prize-surprise
It is usual to give presents for Birthday, the most desirable, good and unexpected presents and creative events were a surprise for guests of the concert. It seemed that the young men from the group “a little Dzhigit” didn’t almost touch the floor during the performance of their event. Team members with 75 years history came from the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania and gave the audience an unforgettable beauty and glow dance. Boys and girls ensemble “Laysan” of the Republic of Bashkortostan presented choreography “Bashkir souvenir.” It seemed that 70 artists have one breathe at all – so smoothly and harmoniously they performed.
While the audience rooting for the team during the entertainment and gambling relays, took creative gifts from the artists, families and members of the jury and closely followed recruited glasses. The main intrigue: who will take first place and win the main prize, persisted until the last relay of the show. In the last stage of the competition Zheleznikv’s family won the prize, and the grand prize went to Revda.
None of the families participating in the competition did not go away empty-handed: family of Vorozhtsov and Valitov’s family, who took second and third places were awarded with certificates on a guided tour, and the others – cash prizes. The gift for all viewers was a concert of pop star Christina Aguilera; it became the final chord of the festival.
